Snow Update

The crew worked hard day and night Thursday through Saturday and made plenty of snow for a great track. There was a solid group of riders out Sunday and everything seemed to go great. We made more snow last night and now should have more room for hole shot testing. Come on out and get prepared for this weekends big show! Make sure to come out next week as well as we lead up to our first Regional race weekend December 5th and 6th held at QMP.

Major Blizzard Reported at Quadna Mountain Park

Hill City, MN (11/19/15) Currently, a major blizzard has hit the Quadna Mountain Park area. Blowing snow and drifting is making visibility very poor. The only advisable method of transport is on snowmobile.

Stay tuned for our official announcement for open practice this weekend. Our goal is to open Sunday, but if conditions are right we could open as early as Saturday.

Keep checking our website for more updates. THINK SNOW!!!

Practice Update 11/16

Hill City, MN (11/16/15) Our crew, just like everyone else in the snowmobile world, is wishing this rain would change into snow. We have been working hard at Quadna Mountain Park to get ready for the upcoming season and our race coming up the first weekend in December (12/5-12/6).

There are 19 snow guns locked and loaded and ready to go as soon as the temperature drops low enough.  That should happen Friday and Saturday with the hopes to be able to be rideable Sunday, November 22 for practice. Please keep checking our website for updates on the conditions/changes.

Update on Practice Info

Hill City, MN (11/12/15 ) As we look out our windows at headquarters at Quadna Mountain Park, we reminisce to last winter when we had a foot of snow on the ground. Like everyone else, we are getting anxious for winter to start. The weather has deterred us from making snow at this point, but we are keeping an eye out for when we can proceed. As soon as the temperature hits that magical snow making number, the twenty snow guns we have aimed and loaded will start firing.

Keep coming back to the website for updates on practice dates and times.

Quadna Mountain Park Congratulates Kyle Pallin, Maxime Taillefer

Hill City, MN (January 15, 2015) Every year, Canterbury is the race that will turn a rider’s season either positive or negative. For two riders that call Quadna Mountain Park home for the winter, their season took a positive turn.

Kyle Pallin and Maxime Taillefer are regular members of the crew that practices at Quadna Mountain Park.  Week after week throughout the winter season, Team Lavallee among many other teams pound out laps working toward that podium finish. With the elevation changes and huge jumps, Quadna is the perfect place to train. Not only does Quadna feature a state of the art track, the facilities are also unique. For the winter season, teams have the option of renting out private shop spaces and condos to live right on site. It is an ideal place to train hard, work hard, and experience success.

“Practicing at QMP has allowed me to work on my riding skills and improve. The track there is always fun which makes riding even better!” said Kyle Pallin.

It was no question on Saturday night at Canterbury Park that Pallin would be the undisputed winner in the Pro Open class. After getting the early holeshot, Pallin continued to increase his lead lap after lap. His focus and drive to get the win played through the entire race and when all was said and done, it was Kyle on top of the box.

Coming in as a top qualifier in the final race, Taillefer muscled his way through to a third place in the Pro Lite class. This is Taillefer’s first Pro Lite podium and we hope to see many more from him in the future.

Be sure to join the crew at Quadna Mountain Park for practice and ISOC MN Regional racing all season long. The next regional is January 24-25.
